Too often designers forget the purpose of what a web site can do for your business. They make the site with flashy content that is distracting and hard for customers to decipher. At MrElliot Technology Works we build uncomplicated and easy to navigate web sites.
Why should you have a web site? More and more people are turning to the web for information. Many people are looking up company information on the internet, instead of the old fashioned yellow pages. The internet provides a way for you to let people know what your companies products and services are. How many times have you driven by a building with a company name on it and wondered what kind of products they sold? Your web site can be as simple as a one page short description of your company, providing customers with contact information, hours and even a map.

The Bison Ranch web site was a site that we were especially proud of. The sites purpose was for customers to view upcoming concerts and to purchase products through the online shopping cart.
Unfortunately the web site is no longer online. We provided a PDF file of the first page so that you could still check it out.

Here is a site that we did for the Scioto Reserve Neighborhood in Powell, OH a few years ago. Its a golf course community, hence the grass and hole number 7 at the top of the page under the logo. All graphics are created by us and we use our own digital photos. Site was taken down for lack of community long term interest. |

The Monsters Madmen & Mayhem web site was a very interesting project. We got to work closely with experts in the horror movie and special effects industry. It was exciting to see how some of the special effects are done. Site was taken down due to a business merger. |

Computer Repair & Upgrades

We explain your computer problems in terms you can understand. Our goal is to educate, so that in the future you will be able to solve some of your own problems with confidence.
Hard Drive Upgrades:
Need a bigger hard drive? We can move your precious data to your new hard drive without losing any data. I've heard horror store from customers that took there computer into one of the big franchise computer repair centers, only to be told that their data was lost in the upgrade process. The computer is being returned to them with a new drive minus their data. Where did the data go? That won't happen with METW!
Internet Pop ups:
Is your computer acting strangely? Constantly popping up ads and dialog boxes? Are you getting more adult ads than any one person should? Don't know where they came from. We can stop the insanity for good.
Viruses:
Is your computer infected with a virus? Are people telling you that you sent them a virus in your email? Not sure if your machine is protected? Give us a call!

Computer Training
We can handle all types of training, from computer basics to more advanced skills like programming and scripting. We can teach, one on one, as well as small classrooms. At METW we have the skills and the patience to help you learn. We make it fun and an enjoyable experience. You should never be afraid to ask, no question is a dumb question.
We also have the patience to teach the physically challenged and have done so in the past. We setup the ability for a challenged individual to type with their limited hand functionality. With our one on one training we were able to provide the skills needed for outside interaction and a better quality of life. The ensuing friendship and the bond that was developed between us, lasted for years.

METW delivers a wide range of services to our clients. Let’s face it. You probably don’t notice your computer systems network much - unless it’s down. And if your network is down, your business is down.
